Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania has numerous tourist attractions rich in the history of Anthracite Coal Mining.  While visiting, planning your next trip or school field trip, stop by and step into the past!

The museum is open for fire department, school and private tours.  While here, you can also visit the Schuylkill County Fallen Firefighter's Memorial, located just a short drive from the museum, at the County's Fire School grounds. 

There is no charge for tours, but donations are accepted.  Interested groups should contact President Michael Kitsock at (570) 628-3691 or Vice-President William Kline at (570) 622-3678 to schedule a tour.  Membership inquiries are also welcome.

Other interesting places to visit while in Schuylkill County are the Pioneer Tunnel & Coal Mine in Ashland and America's Oldest Brewery, the Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville.
